The Midway Woods Association would like to invite all neighborhood residents to join us at Dearborn Park on Sunday, August 7 for a neighborhood picnic! Everyone is invited to come out and meet some new neighbors and reconnect with old friends! Please join us!

We’ll provide hotdogs with all the fixings, chips and water. RSVP to midwaywoodscommunications@gmail.com so we can get an approximate headcount.
BYOD (bring your own drinks) if you’d like something other than water.
Feel free to bring a side dish or dessert (optional) — we’re continuing to be mindful of COVID precautions, so we’d ask that it be something that is easy to share.
Our picnic will also be a Back-to-School fundraiser and supply drive for Avondale Elementary School. We’ll be collecting supplies such as crayons, #2 pencils, composition notebooks as well as donations for our local elementary school and its students. If you’d like to make a monetary donation, you can do so by sending the funds to our PayPal account (please note they are for Avondale Elementary) – the email address for our PayPal account is treasurer@midwaywoodsassociation.org.
And we’ll be kicking off our neighborhood association membership drive at the picnic to boot!
But mostly it is an opportunity for us all to gather and connect or re-connect. We hope to see you all there!
