Thanks to everyone who participated in the “Great Midway Woods Trash Sweep” the weekend of October 23

Over the course of the October 23rd weekend, a contingent of Midway Woods residents took to the streets and collected litter from street-sides throughout the neighborhood. More than a dozen neighbors took part over the course of the weekend, collecting trash from our streets ranging from Deerwood to Dorothy, along Midway Road, Memorial, and Columbia. Great job everyone!

Thanks to all of the neighbors who participated in this event, and to Keep Dekalb Beautiful for supplying the reach-it-tools, garbage bags and vests used by our crews.

We have hopes to make this a more regular event. Keep an eye on this website, the Midway Woods Neighbors Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/midwaywoodsneighbors), NextDoor, or shoot us an email at midwaywoodscommunications@gmail.com to be added to our email mailing list, if you’re not already signed up.

Thanks as always, for all that you do to make our neighborhood a great place.

Trash-collecting supplies also make good cat beds, apparently.
