Midway Book Club: Read “My Time Will Come” with us.

The Midway Woods Book Club is currently reading the book My Time Will Come: A Memoir of Crime, Punishment, Hope, and Redemption by Ian Manual. and will be gathering to discuss it on Thursday, September 9 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The nature of the meeting (whether it will be virtual or in-person) will be determined as the date gets closer.

My Time Will Come is the story of activist and poet Ian Manuel, who at the age of fourteen was sentenced to life in prison. He survived 18 years in solitary confinement—through his own determination and dedication to art—until he was freed as part of a crusade by the Equal Justice Initiative.
