The association is off to a great start in 2020! Come out and discover the tons of new activities we have planned for you and the neighborhood at large. Everyone is welcome, so feel free to the bring the young ones with you as well!
Speaking at the meeting will be our neighbor, Jill Lenz, mother of two kids who attend Avondale Elementary School — http://www.avondalees.dekalb.k12.ga.us/. The school is an International Baccalaureate Primary Years
Programme (PYP) School, right in our own backyard. Test scores there are increasing. They were granted a new $50,000 playground and are supported by the Friends of Avondale (https://www.facebook.com/AESFoundation). Jill will give a brief presentation on her children’s experiences attending the school.
Also on the agenda for the meeting — the 2020 social calendar and plans for the coming year, as well as general neighborhood updates.
Trivia starts at 8 pm. on Wednesdays at the brewery, and everyone is also invited to stick around after the meeting and participate!
Oh, yes , about the free beer? The first 10 Midway Woods neighbors will receive their choice of free beer (or soda if you prefer).
