The annual meeting of the Midway Woods Association is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 16 at Avondale Pizza Cafe, 2823 E College Ave, Decatur, GA 30030.

We encourage all members and interested neighborhood residents to attend. Every person who comes to the meeting will get a free slice of pizza.

If there are more than 15 members in attendance, we’ll also be giving away a Midway Woods Flag during the meeting.

This is the meeting where we’ll be electing board members and officers. As long as you have joined the association before October 2nd (14 days before the election), you’ll be eligible to vote.

If you’re interested in running for a board position, we encourage you to do so. It’s a great way to meet more of your neighbors and feel more connected to the community.

We’re also looking for help with various committees/activities such as Community Engagement (Events, Potlucks, Parties), Environmental Infrastructure (Cleanups, Parks and Streets),  Public Safety (Neighborhood Watch, Paid Patrol Leaders), Communication and Fundraising (Membership drives, Raffles, etc), and Porch Parties/Cocktails on the Curb.
